Curling for Conservation

Our unwavering supporters at Toronto Zoo had planned another Bonspiel, or curling tournament for this month in support of conservation efforts. This annual event has harnessed fantastic support and awareness raising for Sumatran Ranger Project in recent years, but due to the worldwide Covid-19 pandemic it had to be cancelled for 2020. This was a huge blow to the dedicated and hugely passionate Toronto Zoo keepers and their networks but incredibly, a number of those who purchased tickets to the event chose to donate after cancellation of the event. We are so grateful to those who have continued to support our ranger teams in the field, despite the hardship they may be facing in these unprecedented times. Our rangers pass on their sincere thanks and gratitude to all you incredible Toronto Zoo keepers and supporters. Thank you!
